  How the safety device works

1) OPENING: The ball cock is opened by applying the pressure from the top to the bottom of the lever (1) and rotating the same anti-clockwise (2). This double movement prevents the unintentional and accidental openings.
2) CLOSING: The ball cock is normally closed clockwise. Once in the “closed” position, the safety device is released automatically.
Excess flow cartridge
Safety cartridge in resin, stainless steel spring, fail open. Minimum operating ΔP: 7mbar (approximately 2,55 m3/h of natural gas and 1,55 m 3/h of LPG).

WARNING: The sistem does not intercepts small leaks.
TAS Thermic safety Time/temperature diagram
The TAS thermic safety device works in the event of fire as soon as the temperature reaches 100°C.
 
Light up temperature of fuel gas: approx. 640°C

 
 
BON•TAS strength point: 925°C
